The aim of this paper is to examine the religious history Kashi's origins and development, textual scriptural Kashi. Kashi has many names, including Anandkanan (the forest bliss), Mahashamsan great cremation ground), Avimukta (something that cannot be abandoned). There are multiple examples support claim a city's nature, dynamics, popularity have changed over time in response demands needs time. Banaras one those ancient cities been associated with various beliefs cultures since times, but city, while retaining its old features, established itself as developed trade city by accepting new economic challenges, how provided suitable environment changing cultural it went through pressure different political powers from made them realise importance.
